During this pandemic, telehealth is emerging as a sustainable solution for precaution, prevention and treating the spread of COVID 19. Over the last month and a half, telehealth has received all the spotlight and adoptions across healthcare facilities have witnessed an over drive.

Some of the top telemedicine service providers like the Teladoc has seen a steep surge and quite overwhelmed with the rising number of hits they are receiving every day. Their shares have seen a rise of about 52% which is quite unprecedented!

Healthcare facilities can avoid overcrowding

There is little denying the fact that telemedicine can add greatly in not getting the hospitals overwhelmed if it is used wisely! Telehealth can add greatly to bridge the gap between patients, physicians and the health systems.

The recent announcements made by the Medicare and Federal government clearly points out to the importance of deploying telehealth solutions that can help people suffering from other ailments receive care by staying back at home.
